I'm a researcher, educator, writer, and editor, based in Pune, India.
What gets me out of bed each morning is the prospect of adding value to my workplace(s) and collaborators in work bringing energy, big-picture-thinking, organization skills, attention to detail, and a focus on quality.
Learning, education, language, gender, human rights, the environment, and cinema are a few things that I am passionate about.
I have earned my PhD in the sociology of education from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai.
I hold a Masters in English Literature from Jadavpur University and a Masters in Education from TISS, Mumbai.
As a Fulbright alumnus I have had the pleasure of teaching Hindi at Stanford University (2013-14) under the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistantship (FLTA).
I have been working in the realm of education (adult and K-12) for the last 17+ years and have gathered various experiences ranging from teaching/training, research, teacher-training, content development, editing, and people management,
