I co-authored Elevate Intermediate with Samathmika Balaji for Oxford University Press as a labour of love for my first passion: teaching English to adult learners.

One of my best experiences was collaborating with Professor Nandini Manjrekar as technical editor on Gender and Education in India: A Reader meant for students of education at the post-graduate level.


This is a must-have for anyone interested in the key themes and issues related to gender and education in the country. The nuanced introduction by Prof. Manjrekar adds even more substance to this edited volume.

I edited Malavika Kapur's CTET Preparation and Practice: Child Development and Pedagogy by Oxford University Press. 


The book is a guide for those preparing for the CTET, papers I and II.

My research and writing interests are varied. While on my blog I write more about my process and brainstorm a lot more on ideas and thoughts, this page contains links to some of my more formal published writing which is largely on education.


Gender, language learning, the nature of disciplines, the philosophy and sociology of education,pedagogy, and the teacher are some of my abiding interest areas.
